Migration to Open-source based messaging service (Exim, Dovecot and SOGo)

 

Existing Situation

TBS were approached by an existing client for migration of their MS Exchange server to an open-source based collaborative email solution. They adopted Microsoft Exchange previously.

 

Problem Statement & Solution Offered

Their IT team had the task of selecting and implementing the new low-cost hosted email and integrated calendar and messaging system. To save themselves from significant costs, they decided to adopt open-source technologies and manage their communications. TBS engineers provided a migration plan to manage their transition to a completely new opensource stack compromising of Exim, Dovecot and SOGo and the client decided to migrate from the proprietary MS Exchange to the free opensource stack as soon as possible.
